It’s been a nightmare every time one of my children had to come to this clown Hospital. 2/14/2024 my son was in a car accident where him and his gf had to come here cause the rolled their car ex’s. He NEVER SEEN ER DOCTOR WE WAS PLACE ON A BED IN THE HALL FOR THEM TO TAKE HIS BED AND GIVE IS CHAIRS. He has a previous head injury and should have been monitoring him. But nope only did cut scan and sent us home. For days later to find out he had a serious concussion and had to go to TBI clinic in Akron children.
Now on 3/7/2025 I had brought my 22 year old son here per his doctor. We got admitted around 11pm got no bed till 3/8/2025. We sat in waiting room waiting on bed. Once bed started Iv antibiotics to have an allergic reaction to the medicine. Here now 4 1/2 days haven’t seen the same doctor at all. Everyday a new doctor they ask is what it is when that’s what we are here for them to find out. Now today his nurse decided to run Iv as normal for this medicine. Well it has to be ran slower on him. Well she sent him to have another reaction (red man syndrome) now they want to change his medicine and that was 4 hours ago. He still hasn’t got him does of antibiotics that he should have got at 2pm. I want my son moved to a different hospital. The food is uneatable. The sell better for in the general cafeteria then they offer the patients. The rooms our outdated and dirty and dingy. Let’s note my some had been her almost 5 days and no one offered him a shower yet. He had to ask 3 times for wash clothes and towels.when did get them they smell like mildew. Let also add here 2 days before asking him if he needed a tooth brush. This place is a over a hour from our home and it absolutely nasty. Don’t get me started on housekeeping and the pca and nurses no wear gloves.. WE HAD ONE PCA THAT WAS AMAZING HER NAME WAS JACKIE.. SO Jackie if you see This and you worked the 5th floor this weekend (3/8-3/9). We want you to know your amazing and I hope the treat you amazing like you deserve. But let this be noted Don’t BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. Cause I sure the hell won’t and I won’t let emergency services take anyone...
Read moreI came into the er a couple weeks ago with my mom who was having a heart attack. My mother has extensive cardiac history including 3 previous heart attacks, multiple stents, and bypass surgery. All of the nurses in the hospital were really good at their jobs, and very nice and funny, caring for my mom and listening to what she had to say, this one star review is because of Dr. Gaby Aoun. My mom had a catheterization done, he couldn’t even bother to come talk to me in the waiting room, they told me he was too busy. Every time my mom had questions and would ask the nurses they would message him and they would either be ignored or not get answers for hours. This man messed up my mother’s medications so bad her Blood pressure dropped to 77/44 so she had to be kept another day in the hospital. They made no changes when they released her either, just told her to take them further apart. They also referred her to Dr. Aoun for outpatient cardiac care, but didn’t set her up with an appointment and told her to call. Dr. Aoun gave no direction as to when she could return to work, nor an excuse for being in the hospital for 4 days. My mom called his office all week and kept getting vm or no calls back to schedule, so I finally got fed up and called and asked that they please call her to schedule her appointment. The woman at Dr Aoun’s office was horribly rude to my mom, said they might have an appointment the following week or in October, that they don’t do FMLA paperwork even though he was the treating physician, and that she would have to call her back to let her know and hung up on her. Then she did finally get an appointment, she arrived the 30 minutes early they requested and paid her copay just to have Dr. Aoun discriminate against her for having been on mental health medications. Dr. Aoun wouldn’t let her finish a single sentence, was incredibly defensive, and just kept telling her that she has mental issues and that he can’t fix her. He should not be allowed to treat people this way. And this is why you keep losing patients to UH. If your loved one is having cardiac issues take...
Read moreKeisha from the 5th floor is in the wrong profession. I was discharged without proper medication and the doctors weren't on the same page on my condition upon my discharge. So we get Keisha on the phone and she gives my step mom the name of the doctor. He told my step mom I had no acute findings so I won't be getting any medication. Well that's not what a different doctor told me during my 3 day stay. Mind you I was in a bad car accident so I didn't have so much as medication for my muscle spasms! And other findings that I will not disclose. They wanted me to stay but they were doing construction above my room and wouldn't move me. I had really bad headaches from hitting my head. So I hardly got rest, so yeah I wanted to go home and have my fiancé take care of me since the construction was so loud from the banging, drilling, exc. Anyway, I call after my step mom got that answer from the doctor and spoke to Keisha. I'm calm and explain the situation and wanted to know why they thought there were no findings when that's not what we were told. She says I gave your step mom the doctor information and don't give me an attitude. I said I'm not I just want to know why this is. She's yelling at me to come back to the ER if I feel that bad and I asked what her last name was. She wouldn't tell me and I asked who her supervisor was so I can talk to someone who won't yell at me and she says who's your supervisor! I said I'm a patient and I don't work there. She said I'm gonna hang up if you keep giving me attitude...she's yelling the whole time. I said I'm so tired of you people and she yells what do you mean by you people! I said people like you Keisha who are on their high horse with a uniform. So everyone, I hope my report on her will shed light to others that just because you're a nurse doesn't mean you should treat people like they are small minded. If you can't control your temper and yelling while people are sick and in pain then you don't deserve that uniform. I hope she gets fired for her misconduct. I wouldnt go to that hospital because you won't be...
