I changed my initial review, slightly, based on my last experience here about a week ago: They had a raffle to raise money for Kingswood School and the Boys and Girls Club. They are doing good for the community. I enlisted help from my family to chip in and donate once I realized 100% of the proceeds were going directly to these institutions in downtown Youngstown. I purchased a ton of tickets. They initially told me it was policy to write my name and number on each ticket, but when they saw how many tickets I had, they offered to write each ticket out themselves. I did not want to put them through this ordeal either, so I decided to forfeit my entry in the raffle and just do a straight donation to the cause. These employees care about this community in a general sense, but you will see in the review below that they are jaded. I believe this is because of the type of clientele they are used to on a regular basis. Still doesn't justify this following account...
Initial review: Taco Bell's food is awesome. But the service at this location (Youngstown - 5th Ave) is generally bad. The employees stand around and chat while there is a line of customers, they ignore you when you approach the front counter (they don't say "i'll be with you in a minute" when you walk in). They see you, but don't acknowledge your existence, and you end up waiting at the counter while they do nothing, or while it takes three people to do one thing. It's weird that they don't screw up customers orders more often. Shocking, actually.
Oh, and it's not fast food at this Taco Bell. If you are in the "drive-thru" line (by line i mean 3 cars including your own), expect to wait 10-15 minutes. No joke. Even if i take an order to go, I always go inside: it's not as frustrating when I...
Read moreI am a long-standing patron of Taco Bell, but I am saddened to report a deeply disappointing experience I recently had at the fifth avenue branch.
On 05/31 I placed an order through DoorDash. Upon its arrival, I discovered that half of the ordered items were missing. In hopes of rectifying the situation, I contacted the branch directly. Instead of a resolution, I was met with an extreme lack of professionalism and courtesy.
The employee I interacted with on the phone not only failed to address my issue but also hung up on me twice during our conversation. Such disrespectful treatment from a customer service representative was entirely unexpected and unacceptable.
Taco Bell has always been a go-to for me due to its reliably good food and service. However, this incident has significantly tainted my view of this establishment. I believe that every customer deserves respect and proper service, regardless of the situation.
While I understand that mistakes can happen, it's the response to those mistakes that truly define a company's dedication to customer satisfaction. I hope that this issue is an exception rather than the rule at Taco Bell and that it will be addressed appropriately to ensure a better experience for all customers...
Read moreCame here & made 2 separate orders. Got everything in a decent amount of time. Got all he home to find sour cream in my burrito after asking for no sour cream. The screen and receipt was correct but the worker on the line obviously didn't care, was high, couldn't read, or was moving too fast. Either way, your job isn't that hard, slow TF down. Called up there and was told to come back when I could but they didn't say they're name or even ask for mine. Had no choice but to drive back, and sit back in line to get another. No one said apology or any words towards them making a mistake and having me come back just to have it corrected with no compensation. I actually didn't exepect there to be good customer service it's Taco on 5th Ave c'mon. They met those expectations. I'm over mad at myself for going against my judgement and eating there anyway knowing I shouldn't. The ppl at the window were nice but that doesn't refill my gas tank. $1 or not I paId for what I want. But it's ok because I came back 2 more times and got more tacos but this time for free since they don't ask for names or...
