Ollie's Bargain Outlet — Local services in Yukon

Full of random things that I don't necessarily need, but have fun walking through and looking at.

The most employees I've ever seen there at one time is two people, several have told me that they're only allowed to work up to the amount before they're considered full time so they don't have to be offered insurance benefits, and that it's almost always overwhelmingly overheated with no AC in the store space. They're never happy working there, but it appears to be an option they can't pass up to supplement other similar part time employment options in the area.

That said, the snacks are delicious and my kids like walking through and seeing the assortment of times and brands as well. I'll likely continue coming maybe once every other month for the discounts on said...

Update from today's visit. Not sure I'll be back anytime soon. Came in today to browse. Some prices are ok, but most are the same or higher than walmart. Some items missing price tags, some items mislabeled, some items say one thing on the shelf, but rung up higher. Its a gamble. Check out staff (heavy set guy) was oblivious and unhelpful. What a waste.

Waited in line in the cold for about 20 minutes to purchase an item in the flyer for the grand opening. The flyer seemed specific to the Yukon store. It was a one day sale on a vacuum. The vacuums apparently “didn’t arrive” and there was no notice anywhere. Poorly ran. Staff seemed clueless. Very unfortunate impression to make, particularly with the number of customers there just...
