This used to be one of those cool places I used to look forward to going when I was in my teens. Back when Lays chips and Aero chocolate were an in thing, unfortunately it now seems to be filled with uncivilized people .
The cat calls don’t end and the street harassment continues. It’s a pity because the shops are pretty decent, but the streets are wild.
The chaos on the streets is a concern because it’s not a safe place for the school kids passing by, three schools that is. Two of them being girl schools. What are they learning? Are they even safe?
Somebody please put things in order here.
In short, I’m finding this place unpleasant and and unsafe. I drift further away from it every time...
Read moreI have for years refused to use this shopping centre as it is full of vendors, beggars and scammers. I had to run an errand and stupidly fell for a car repair scammer working in the parking lot and whilst I later had a very loud and almost physical fight with the con man in front of the shopping mall, none of the staff or security showed any intention to assist or even surprise. I ended up having to pay the man to make him leave and not escalate into a physical fight, this cost me a lot of money and I will never visit this complex again.
This is not a statement of the individual businesses, but a warning of the type of environment that has always been allowed to thrive at Chisipite...
