I don't know if I just have unrealistic expectations of what tacos should taste like but boy was I deeply disappointed. I'd like to think that tacos are defined by their hard shells, these ones were soft. (I just did a quick google search just to understand what they should be like and I see that my idea of tacos was anchored by American tv shows - where they make them hard shelled. The traditional, authentic Mexican ones are apparently soft shelled.) So I'll take this into consideration as I continue my review. So we've established that it's okay for the shells to be soft, however, I still found them too chewy. Not only were they difficult to bite apart, but I'm sure my enzymes are still trying to break them down in my stomach (for context, I had them 4 days ago). The filling? so so bland. I had to add on a lot of S&P and sauce just to get a kick of flavour. Would not order again.

This was an unplanned trip to this venue as we had made plans at another establishment. However this place did not disappoint. The background of the putting course lit up exquisitely provided a unique ambiance. It was chilled vibes all around with a live singer. The cocktails also available in mocktail version delivered on the pretty drinks memo. My highlight was the tacos. My taco experience in this country has not been the best. It was a black Friday special so tacos were two for one. I must say this was my first experience of the birria tacos. They were succulent and the meat was tender. The chicken tacos also packed a punch. Not sure how busy it gets when it is packed but there is lots to do here between the astro turf, the games, table tennis and putt putt.

I didn’t really order food because I was there for the activities, However, I did have a strawberry daiquiri. Tasted awesome
Now on to the activities Oh boy!!! Final weekend before schools opened and it was packed to the brim!! games on offer include Mini golf, Virtual Reality, table tennis etc. you pay 10 bucks by the gate to access all games at your own pace. We had to wait for the crowd to clear a bit, and only started our activities after 5pm. i would say if you don’t have kids with you, and need a bit of quiet try going a bit later in the afternoon. But otherwise the staff are really friendly and helpful if you have questions

Very Disappointing Experience – Unfair Charges and Poor Customer Service

We had a really disappointing experience at Puttery Barn and unfortunately feel compelled to share it. We visited with our family, including young children, and were shocked by how we were treated particularly by the manager on duty.

Despite the fact that our youngest children didn’t play anything at all (including a 2-year-old and a 3-year-old who were clearly too young to participate), we were still charged full price for everyone. When we raised this with the manager, she simply told us the payment couldn’t be adjusted because the waiter had already punched it in. There was no flexibility, no understanding, and no effort to resolve the issue we were basically told to pay up whether the kids played or not.

Only my husband and our two older children stayed and played. The rest of us myself, my sister, and our toddlers had to leave as there was absolutely nothing suitable for their age group. Still, we were charged horrendous prices for an experience we didn’t even get to have.

What’s worse is how dismissive and unprofessional the manager was no apology, no solution, just a flat-out refusal to help. It felt like we were being taken advantage of simply for walking through the door.

A family-friendly venue should absolutely take age and participation into account when charging guests. Sadly, we won’t be returning and can’t recommend it to...

Venue and activities are great! Food and service were terrible. Although our server was very polite and smiley, things were just so slow. It took 45 min for them to take our order and get our first drinks, basic cocktails, and even "homemade" lemonades were terrible. They ran out of draught beer. We were a group of 9, and some people had finished eating before others had even received their food yet. (they were not busy, maybe 7 tables) Loaded chips arrived cold, and after we sent them back to warm up, it came back cold again. Other's plain chips were also luke warm. Tacos had mostly cabbage and sauce and the smallest chicken strip, which was bland. The roti was chewy and stale. Toasted sandwiches were flavorless. Schnitzel was very dry, fish was dry. Pizza was very tasty but oily. The chicken was fantastic and the sauce was very good.

The most annoying thing of all was the constant flickering of the lights from...
