🇨🇦 Endless Oysters in Nanaimo! 🦪 Can’t even finish picking them!

Found a hidden oyster treasure spot in Nanaimo—these oysters are everywhere, no searching needed! 🎯 The location is a bit tricky to find, with limited parking (only roadside along the highway). After parking, you’ll need to cross the train tracks and hike down a rough trail to reach the beach. Walk along the shore, and soon you’ll spot Figure 4—a whole stretch of beach covered in oysters! 🏝️ Clams are also in this area—just look for muddy, waterlogged sand and dig deeper with a shovel. They’re packed underneath! 🎒 Handy Tips: 1️⃣ Check the Shellfish map & tide table in advance. 2️⃣ Get a fishing license ($6/day per person, limit: 12 oysters 🦪 & 60 clams 🐚). 3️⃣ Must-have gear: Rain boots or thick rubber-soled water shoes A small collapsible bucket for hauling oysters & shells Thick rubber gloves (protection is key!) A small shovel (to pry oysters off rocks & dig for clams) #VancouverLife #CanadianLiving #NanaimoGuide #NanaimoTidePooling #Oysters🦪 #TidePoolingFinds 🌊
