A South American friend took me to a tropical fruit gelato shop that actually has taro flavor — yes, you heard right, it’s exactly like the taro taste from our childhoods back home 😭 I couldn’t stop thinking about it after, definitely have to recommend it to everyone! Besides taro, I also tried mango and dragon fruit flavors — both super intense and creamy. My friends had mulberry, tamarind, and some other flavors I couldn’t even name, all made from tropical fruits common in South America and Asia.
