Milan Foodie Guide | Romantic Dining by the Canal 😋
Creative Bistro Wanted to take a stroll by Milan’s Grand Canal in the evening, so I found a nearby restaurant for dinner. Nebbia has excellent reviews on Google Maps, and it definitely lived up to them! The food was delicious, with a great atmosphere and service, and prices weren’t too high either. I ordered two appetizers: oysters with rhubarb 🦪 and chicken liver mousse with caramelized onion crackers. The oysters were big and fresh, paired perfectly with the sweetness of rhubarb and a hint of herb fragrance. The chicken liver mousse on crackers is a Nebbia specialty—rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. The creamy chicken liver mousse was a perfect match with the slightly spicy and sweet caramelized onion. For mains, I tried the paccheri with carabinero prawn and pea puree and risotto with beef ragu—both unique and tasty. I especially loved the Italian carabinero prawns, soft and sweetly fresh 🤤. I took a vintage Milan tram to get there, which was a fun and unique experience, especially at sunset. After dinner, a stroll along the canal was the perfect way to unwind. Walking slowly under the dim streetlights, watching locals chat by the riverside or walk their dogs, I felt completely at ease, as if I were part of the scene—even in a foreign country, it felt comfortably familiar. #RestaurantRecommendations #HiddenGems #AtmosphericDining #MilanFood #GlobalFoodieTeam #DailyEats #StreetSideMichelin #FoodieGuide
