Milan | Ate at the Restaurant of the Year 💚🤍❤️

Verso Ristorante, Capitaneo How to put it? The overall experience was something like Pure beauty, super delicious, almost bursting at the seams. This Italian fusion restaurant, which recently opened, has already won a Michelin two-star rating. It’s truly a testament to the chef’s exceptional aesthetic sense of ingredients and the perfect performance of plating art. For those who want to indulge in a bit of drama . it’s a great healing experience. The portion size of the entire tasting menu was also very generous. Off-menu, they even served 4 small appetizers as a pre-appetizer, and the pre-dessert was sweet to the point of bliss (the good kind, of course). And there were all sorts of breads. The menu changes frequently, adjusted according to the seasonal ingredients. The chefs are brothers from Southern Italy. I heard that many of the food pairings are inspired by their hometown, so I guess Southern Italian cuisine must be delicious too 🍚🤓. The seating arrangement also reflects the brothers’ concept of an open kitchen for interaction with guests, allowing you to observe the food preparation process and the little interactions between the chefs. Eating for over 3 hours, but it was never boring 🙌🏻 Regarding reservations, the lunch and dinner menus are the same. Besides the tasting menu, you can also order à la carte (if you’re not very hungry, I recommend not going for the tasting menu 🫠. Reservations open a month in advance. The bookings aren’t too competitive lately; I managed to secure a lunch spot about two weeks in advance.
