🇺🇸 17-Mile Drive|Stunning Coastal Road Trip in the Bay Area

If you’re visiting Monterey, you can’t miss driving the 17-Mile Drive! 🚗💨 The full route is about 27 kilometers long. While driving is the most convenient option, you can also bike 🚴 or walk 🚶. Allow around 3 hours for the full drive. The best light for photos is in the early morning or late afternoon — golden hour magic! 🌅📸 You can enter through either the Pacific Grove Gate or the Highway 1 Gate. Upon entry, you’ll receive a guidebook with a map marking all the scenic stops. There are plenty of parking spots along the way, so you can stop anytime for photos. When you pass Pebble Beach, make sure to check out the restrooms at the Visitor Center — they have a subtle, sweet milk-like scent (seriously, it’s true! 🍶👃). 🎫 Admission: Private vehicles: $12.25 per car Buses: $5.50 per person Bicycles and pedestrians: FREE 🚴‍♂️🚶‍♀️ Restaurant spending over $35 can be applied toward entry fee Guests of designated hotels get free entry Motorcycles are not allowed 🚫 📍 Entrance 1: Pacific Grove Gate - 17 Mile Drive 📍 Entrance 2: Highway 1 Gate - 17 Mile Drive #California #VisitCalifornia #Monterey #MontereyBay #PebbleBeach #PebbleBeachGolfLinks #CoastalDrive #RoadTrip
