A Hidden Gem After Eye Exam, Boiled Beef & Lemon Tea Are Amazing🍜 Today I came to Alameda for an Eye Exam. After the check-up, my stomach started growling, so I stopped by this restaurant called Alameda Hong Kong City that I’ve been bookmarking for ages! I originally came for their super popular seafood private kitchen, but when I got to the door, I found out the restaurant has quietly upgraded to a Hong Kong-style tea restaurant—same name, but a big surprise✨ Tea restaurants are my favorite type of eatery! They have such a wide variety of dishes that it’s hard to choose, and each individual set meal even comes with a drink, which is super cost-effective~ Since I was dining alone today, I ordered the signature boiled beef + iced lemon tea to test the restaurant’s real level, and I was totally blown away! The boiled beef slices are thin and tender, smothered in spicy red oil and fragrant enough to make you lick your plate. The iced lemon tea is refreshing and relieves greasiness, taking one sip instantly eases the tiredness from the eye exam😋 I quickly shared the food photos with everyone, and also attached the full menu for easy reference~ I hope more friends will come to try the food here, so I can take notes for my next visit and order even more delicious dishes!😁😁 #BayAreaFood #HongKongStyleTeaRestaurant #ALAMEDA
