Authentic Pho Near Charleston Airport! 🍜
After one too many heavy Southern meals in Georgia and South Carolina, we craved something light and comforting – and found just the place! Phuong Vietnamese Restaurant 📍 5634 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29406 ⭐ 4.7 stars – a local favorite! 📅 Reservations: Not accepted. Gets packed during peak hours – we arrived just before noon on a weekday and it was already almost full! Saw soldiers, families, and regulars – definitely a neighborhood gem. 🍜 Food Highlights: #16 Pho – loaded with brisket that was tender and flavorful. The broth was naturally sweet and rich – no MSG aftertaste! We loved it so much we came back twice. #26 Noodle Soup – with sliced pork hock and brisket in a lightly spicy broth (forgot to snap a pic, but trust me – it's delicious!). Special Stir-Fried Noodles – wok-tossed with egg noodles. Good on its own, but even better with their house hot sauce 🌶️. Vietnamese Iced Coffee – only $2 (menu said $4.50 – pleasant surprise!). A bit light on coffee flavor, but still refreshing. Vietnamese Pancake – made with coconut batter, served with herbs and fish sauce. It was just okay – not their best dish. 💬 Verdict: Come for the pho – the broth alone is worth the trip! Noodle soups >> everything else. #CharlestonEats #PhuongRestaurant #VietnameseFood #PhoLovers #ComfortFood #LocalEats #NorthCharleston #TravelEats #FoodieFind
