๐ŸŒŸ Hunan Stinky Tofu ๐Ÿ’ฐ: $14.99 Rating: โญโญโญโญโญ The best Hunan-style black stinky tofu in the Bay Area! It's fried to a crispy perfection, and the inside is soaked with a spicy millet sauce that's soft and flavorful. Paired with special pickled radish, it's simply amazing, just like the taste back home. I haven't found anything like this anywhere else in the Bay Area. However, I personally think it's a bit pricey. ๐ŸŒŸ Casserole of Braised Chicken Feet ๐Ÿ’ฐ: $18.99 Rating: โญโญโญโญ The chicken feet are braised until very tender, and they're the tiger skin variety, which is especially delicious when braised with fresh chili peppers. The casserole is a great feature. The only downside is that it can be a bit thirst-inducing if you eat too much. ๐ŸŒŸ Casserole of Minced Meat with Sweet Potato Noodle Skins ๐Ÿ’ฐ: $15.99 Rating: โญโญโญโญโญ I really like this dish; it's refreshing and not too heavy, not spicy at all. The noodle skins and minced meat are stir-fried together, creating a delightful aroma and a very satisfying taste. The only minor issue is that it's a bit oily. ๐ŸŒŸ Stir-Fried Eel with Perilla and Cucumber ๐Ÿ’ฐ: $24.99 Rating: โญโญโญโญ It's such a treat to get eel for just $25. The eel is very clean, and the stir-frying is perfectly done, slightly spicy and fragrant. I really like it. The only minor issue is that the eel could be softer; it's a bit hard. ๐Ÿดhometown kitchen ๐Ÿ“ 1245 Jacklin Rd, Milpitas, CA 95035 #Hometown Kitchen #Bay Area food #Milpitas #food diary
