Chicago’s Hidden Gem of French Cuisine!! 😍✨

📍 Petit Pomeroy This is an incredibly delicious French restaurant in Chicago, but it’s not super popular on social media—it’s still a hidden gem! Seriously underrated!! The dishes we ordered (pictured) were all amazing, and I highly recommend them to everyone! 🍽️💖 Recommended Dishes 🌟 🍗 Chicken Liver Mousse (p1) This dish absolutely blew me away!! I’m usually not a fan of animal liver—even fancy foie gras can be hard for me to swallow. But this chicken liver mousse was a game-changer! It’s seasoned perfectly, with no weird aftertaste or greasiness. Served with toasted bread and a touch of mustard, it’s just divine! 🥖💛 🦀 Crab Cake (p3) Hands down the best crab cake I’ve ever had! Personally, I think it’s even better than RPM Seafood’s. The crab flavor is rich, and the chunks of crab meat are huge. The veggies and sauce it comes with are also top-notch. Overall, it’s a must-try for crab lovers! 🦀💥 *This dish is on the lunch menu and might not be available for dinner. 🦞 Bouillabaisse (p5) Not sure how to translate this, but it’s a mix of shrimp, scallops, mussels, and shredded lobster meat, served with a big slice of French bread. The soup is slightly thick and perfect for dipping the bread. While it didn’t wow me as much as the first two dishes, it’s still incredibly delicious! 🥣🦐 🐟 Black Sea Bass (p4) This was part of the Valentine’s Day special menu, so it might not be available regularly. It was also very tasty, but I won’t go into too much detail here. 🐠💕 Dinner here starts at 4:30 PM, and the lunch and dinner menus are different, so plan accordingly! Also, the restaurant offers a different special dish every day of the week—for example, Saturdays are steak nights, and Mondays feature a lobster risotto. There are also some off-menu specials, so don’t hesitate to ask your server about any hidden gems! 🗓️🍷 Overall, highly recommended! It truly impressed me. 💲 Price per person: $80-100 #FrenchCuisine #VibeyRestaurant #RestaurantRecommendations #Chicago #ChicagoRestaurants #ChicagoFrenchFood
