Chicago|A Corner Vietnamese Coffee Shop That Totally Blew My Mind! 🔥

Yesterday while wandering around Pilsen, I stumbled upon this spot — thought it was just a tiny coffee corner, but everything from drinks to snacks hit right in the feels. The joy of blind ordering with zero regrets is real 😭 ☕️ Coffee lovers must try! Ordered the classic Vietnamese Egg Coffee (Cà Phê Trứng) — since the US doesn’t have edible raw eggs, they make it with whipped egg custard instead. Whether you love coffee or not, you’ll enjoy this. They use authentic Vietnamese coffee, not espresso (big plus for me since I can’t handle espresso well 😅). 🍗 The hidden menu is the real gem! Even though it’s called a café, they have a full food menu (turns out it’s under the same ownership as nearby HaiSous Vietnamese Restaurant, no wonder it’s so good). ✅ Fish Sauce Chicken Wings — crispy on the outside, juicy inside, perfect with coffee. Ate three in a row! Note: sauce is generous and on the salty side — skip if you prefer lighter flavors. ✅ Chicken Salad — Hands down the best salad I’ve ever had! Tender chicken thigh with sweet shredded carrots, cabbage stems, and secret fish sauce dressing — tangy, slightly spicy, refreshing yet satisfying. Huge portion and totally diet-friendly ✨ 🍰 Dessert didn’t disappoint either! Got the signature Lychee Danish — lychee sitting on egg custard, crispy pastry, sweet but not heavy. Paired perfectly with the salad — pure happiness. 💰 Around $30 per person — great value! 📍 Address: 1800 S Carpenter St, Chicago, IL 60608 ⏰ Hours: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (They close early and are closed on Mondays!) #VietnameseCoffee #HiddenGem #FoodieFind #ChickenSalad #CafeHopping #WeekendVibes
