Chicago|Taking Labubu Out for a Labubu-Themed Treat
Thanks to a friend’s gift, I’m no longer a Labubu-less wanderer 🥹 First thing I did with my new Labubu? Take it out for a Middle Eastern Labubu afternoon tea! 🍫 The Labubu-shaped Dubai chocolate — I know it’s just a mold, but it’s so cute 😭 They also have Hello Kitty and regular shapes — same delicious chocolate. 🍰 are their mousse cakes, especially the fruit-shaped ones. Way tastier than similar-looking Thai “look choo.” Strawberry, pineapple, mango — all kinds of flavors. Chocolate shell outside, soft fruit mousse inside. 🍌 I bought the banana mousse cake and coconut mousse cake. The banana one had a banana filling inside — artificial but nostalgic, like those mini banana ice creams from childhood. The coconut mousse even had mango jam inside — a tropical flavor bomb. As a Middle Eastern sweets shop, they also have traditional pastries displayed. You can ask for a gift box and pick items from the counter — feels like Daoxiangcun (稻香村) vibes! Mousse cakes need refrigeration — best eaten in-store. Traditional pastries can be boxed up to enjoy slowly with coffee at home. 📍 Zmzm Sweets 10511 S Harlem Ave, Chicago Ridge, IL 60415 #SummerFoodieCat 🐱 #DessertHeals #ChicagoLife #ExploreChicago #ChicagoEats #Chicago
