Chicago|Who’s the Lucky Cat That Got to Try Lucky Cat?
Oh, it’s me 😼 Wrote about their pop-up before — they used to run coffee service from the Boonie’s bar on weekends. Tried their black sesame latte back then and couldn’t forget it. Now they’ve opened their own spot — had to show support! ☕️ Black Sesame Latte (hot & iced) – Still very Asian-inspired, not as sweet as Kasama’s version — you can really taste the toasty sesame richness. ☕️ Coconut Cloud Cold Brew – Kyoto-style cold brew topped with thick coconut cream foam. First sip is like biting into a coconut cloud, then the coffee kicks in. ☕️ Sweet Bloom Matcha Latte – Matcha latte with honey and osmanthus. Consistency seemed off — some cups had dried osmanthus sprinkled on top, others didn’t. Maybe just busy-day slip-ups? ☕️ Miso Latte – A unique savory-sweet balance. ☕️ Visited three times — pastries didn’t look special, so I skipped them. But the puddings and cheesecakes in the fridge looked promising — next time! They also serve simple meals, even three-cup chicken (??). They sell whole-bean coffee too — some beans are sourced from China, and there’s a house blend literally called “Cat” 😹 Great spot right next to the popular Tuk Tuk Thai. 📍 Lucky Cat 2806 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60657 #SummerFoodieCat 🐱 #Chicago #ChicagoLife #ChicagoEats #ExploreChicago #LifeInTheUSA
