LUCKYCAT — Restaurant in Lake View Township

A new establishment recently opened in Lakeview. I initially discovered it on Indeed.com and subsequently noticed it on TikTok. Following its opening, it appeared that many people were visiting for the matcha. Although I am not a regular consumer of matcha, I do occasionally enjoy it. Consequently, I decided to visit here for trying the coffee. I ordered a beverage, and it was quite enjoyable. It exceeded my expectations, as I had some concerns that the flavor might be too intense. They have certainly managed that aspect well. Unfortunately, the pastries were already sold out when I arrived, which was disappointing because I was looking forward to trying them. However, it is not a problem; I intend to return because the coffee left a positive impression, being a good, decent, and delicious coffee that I needed. The atmosphere there seems pleasant, in my opinion. I only wish there were more people there to socialize than to work...

An immediate addition to the pantheon of great Chicago coffee shops. It’s clear how much attention they give to the quality of their coffee, which is first and foremost. Even though they have their own flair, everything is tastefully done.

Being a new shop, we tried a few of the items. Their Kaku drip tasted like a pour over. My wife was raving about her black sesame latte and we got their coconut cold brew to go, which was a 10/10. I wish this place were open earlier because that would’ve been my go-to summer drink.

I’m so happy Luckycat opened up in chicago. Not enough coffee shops in the city really focus on delivering the highest quality coffee possible, from bean to cup. Highly rec the radiant latte (try it with matcha too!!). The attention to detail and the cohesion of the owner’s vision is evident from the drinks to the interior to the service.
