Chicago's Hidden Spanish Gem – MFK. 🇪🇸✨

Tried MFK. with my friend over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised! The vibe is cozy and warm, the dishes are beautifully crafted, and it’s perfect for catching up over drinks and tapas 🧡 Highly recommend the Fideos – Chewy thin noodles wrapped in savory seafood sauce—absolutely amazing! Suzuki Crudo – A burst of sweet fish flavor in one bite, with avocado adding a creamy touch. Loved the light, refreshing seasoning. Other tapas like the croquettes and baguette with anchovies also exceeded expectations. The server kindly let us try two anchovy preparations: I preferred the boquerones—parsley and garlic stood out, with pickled veggies adding layers. My friend loved the lemon zest + sour cream version—super fresh and bright. Since the menu is seafood-heavy, we paired it with white wine 🍾—tried three of their whites, all lovely. Their sangria isn’t overly sweet either—big plus! 😀 It reminded me of the fideos at Bar Mar (also delicious but pricier). For now, MFK. is my favorite tapas spot in Chicago! 📍 mfk.
