Chicago | Affordable Thai Food Near Woodfield Mall ποΈπΉπ
When shopping in the northwest suburbs (Mitsuwa and Woodfield Mall) over the weekend, we tried this budget-friendly Thai spotβonly around $30 per person! π Restaurant: Thai Siri Restaurant πΏ Ambiance: Clean and bright π ΏοΈ Parking: Itβs the suburbsβof course thereβs plenty of parking right in front! Food Review: Overall, the flavors lean sweet, but portions are huge and prices are great! π€ Spider Shrimp β Delicious! Crispy fried shrimp served with sweet and sour (or sweet chili) sauce. So good! πππππ π« Fresh Spring Roll with Shrimp β Pretty standard spring rolls, but the basil inside was a bit too strong for my taste. πππ π Panang Noodle (with added Duck) β You MUST add the duck! The curry noodles alone are just okay, but together with the duckβWOW, incredibly fragrant and tasty! We got mild spice, but the curry was still quite sweet. Eating it with the duck made all the difference! ππππ (Seriously, the duck is a game-changer π¦) π₯ Mango Sticky Rice β (Side note: Thanks to influencer Wang Ruixin, mango sticky rice is now the first thing I think of at Thai restaurants! π) The coconut sauce was super sweetβthey gave us way too much, so by the end it felt a bit overwhelming. Still, the mango and rice combo itself was delicious! ππππ π§ Thai Tea β Extremely sweet, like full-sugar Thai milk tea level π¬π¬π¬ Not my favorite. #Chicago #ChicagoFood #AffordableThai #ThaiFood #FoodieAdventure
