Chicago | Filipino Restaurant Bonnie’s in Its New Location

⭐️ Boonie's Filipino Restaurant 📍 4337 N Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60618 Came to Bonnie’s on a friend’s recommendation — they used to have a lunch box spot in a Loop food court that was super popular, and now they’ve moved up north with a more polished vibe. Perfect reason to check it out! 🍽️✨ Their menu has changed since the food court days — now just one page, so options are limited. We ended up ordering almost everything except the vegan dishes… and that turned out to be a great call! Entrées are decently sized, but appetizers are pretty small (though affordable). With five people sharing nine dishes, it came to around $35 per person. 💸 My personal favorites: 🥓 Pork Sausage – savory and well-seasoned 🐟 Trout Soup – tangy and comforting, perfect poured over rice 🍚 🍤 Grilled Shrimp (– simple but tasty Wasn’t a huge fan of the minced pork/beef with egg dish (forgot the name 😅) — it felt a bit too oily for me. Overall, a really nice experience! 🌟 Sadly, they were out of garlic rice when we visited — heard it’s one of their signatures, so definitely give it a try if you go! #ChicagoEats #ChicagoFood #BooniesFilipino #FilipinoFood #NewLocation #FoodExploration
