Chicago | Hidden Gem: MFK. Spanish Tapas Bar

This weekend, my girls and I tried out MFK., a Spanish tapas bar, and we were super impressed! The ambiance is super cozy and warm, and the dishes are just exquisite. It's the perfect spot to catch up with friends over drinks and tapas. 🥂 - Must-try: **Fideos**. The al dente noodles are perfectly coated with a rich seafood sauce. It's an absolute delight! 🌟 - **Suzuki Crudo**: The fresh fish is incredibly sweet and tender, with a touch of avocado 🥑 adding a creamy texture. The light, refreshing seasoning is just spot on. - We also ordered other tapas like croquettes and a baguette with anchovies, and they exceeded our expectations. The server was super attentive and let us try two different flavors. I loved the **boquerones** with parsley and garlic, and the pickled veggies added a nice layer of complexity. My friend preferred the lemon zest and sour cream combo, which was super refreshing. - With seafood dishes, white wine is a must. We tried three different whites from the menu, and they were all fantastic. The sangria was also a hit—it wasn't overly sweet and had a nice fruity flavor. 😊 I suddenly thought of Bar Mar's fideos, which are also delicious, but the prices here at MFK. are way more reasonable. This has become my favorite spot for tapas in Chicago so far! mfk. Restaurant #ChicagoExplore #ChicagoFood #ChicagoLife #SpanishCuisine #ChicagoFun #ChicagoTravel
