Chicago | Medici on 57th — Obama Ate Here! 🍕

Just moved to Chicago and still staying in a hotel — after work each day, my first mission is finding food near campus 🏫🍴. Today I checked out Medici on 57th, right by the University of Chicago. Rumor has it former President Obama used to eat here back when he was a student! 🎓🇺🇸 They’re known for pizza and burgers, so I ordered a personal pizza… (only remembered to take a photo after eating a slice 😅). Honestly, the pizza was just so-so — nothing special, more about the history and vibe. But then again, how amazing could a fast-food spot from Obama’s student days really be? 😄 It’s more for filling your stomach than a foodie experience. If you’re looking for delicious eats, you might want to skip this one. Checked the map and it looks like all the really good food is downtown and in Chinatown 🗺️🍜. Planning to head downtown this weekend for some great food + shopping — a nice reward after a busy week!
