The waiters here had no respect for customers’ privacy. They took customers credit card far away from customers’ eyesight without their permission. The ambiance here was dark, cold and noisy, waiters indulged customers yelling humiliating words and did nothing to stop others yelling even when requested.
When I took out my credit card to pay, a waitress said ‘Currently our cash machine does not work, so I will tab your credit card there.’ Then she grabbed my credit card and rushed to the kitchen, without asking for my consent on taking my credit card away. Then I said, ‘No, madam. You shall not take my credit card out of my sight, because the card information is confidential.’ However at this time, another male waiter obstructed me, ‘Sir, you can not enter the kitchen, you should take your seat.’ I replied ‘But you should quickly give my credit card back to me, because the card information is secret.’ Nevertheless, the waiter nudged me to a seat and said ‘Sir, I will do that for you, please take your seat.’ rather than help me call the first female servant back. It was regretful that I surrendered and sit on a seat. Finally the first waitress took nearly 3 minutes to return my credit card.
I angrily took my credit card and said ‘you shall not do that again’. At that moment another customer who did not care about the truth at all began to abuse me with discrimination words, ‘You are not polite, Chinese student. This is America, you should go back to China.’ I quietly took my seat, but that discriminating man did not stop, so I came to the waiters, ‘that man is abusing me, please stop him.’ In that case, the two servants stood on the ground like a log, without doing anything.
After 2 minutes of hearing that discriminating customer endlessly abused me, I finally decided to not tolerate it anymore. I yelled to that customer, ‘Stop talking to me!’ Even so, the first two waiters still stood there like a log and that discriminating customer was still whispering ‘Don’t stare at me. This man must have some problems.’ I said to the two logs, ‘I don’t eat here today, refund!’
Fortunately, a kind lady eventually came, ‘what’s the matter?’ She then took me aside and refunded my money. In the end I ate in another restaurant which was only two blocks from this blighted dark room, but has the greatest and most worthy service.
I found a regulation that the cash machine here never works well. Usually the waiters will brutally grab my credit card and take it away from my sight. They do not respect the credit card privacy at all. Moreover, they are always neglectful of customers’ need. Customers are not allowed to enter the kitchen, while their confidential credit card can be freely taken into the kitchen without customers’ permission.
Generally if you come to this restaurant, no waiters will actively give you a menu. After you decide your meal and request an order, those waiters will defer you for 2 minutes until someone comes and gets your order. Broadly speaking, the environment here is dark, cold and wet.
I must continue to use that credit card for 6 months until I return to my homeland. I will certainly cancel that card after I reach homeland. However, during that period if money is stolen from that card using card number and CVV code, I will tell the police that the waiters in this restaurant have the highest suspicion of...

I got the garbage burger medium rare and it was below average. The fries were quite cold and stale, even mcdonalds is much better, and tasted not fresh or good. My burger was a good portion but first of all, it didnt even come with a top bun originally; they bought it out later on a separate plate. Firstly, in my opinion the buns were too thick, not toasted (just bland white bread), which overpowered the rest of the burger. The meat was okay, but not even cooked correctly. I asked for medium rare and this is much closer to medium well with little red. The meat wasnt very juicy and rich, or succulent. The cheese, bacon, and rest of ingredients were okay but the flavours didnt go that well together. Unfortunatrlu thr burger didnt really fill me up because of that but I enjoyed it a little. I tried a bite of the steak and fries and it was bad. The presentation, which hid the steak, looked off putting, and the steak and the asparagus were both very chewy, that i had to spit it out, even topped witht he sauce, which is subtly rich not much.
Anf theres a 20% service charge??! Thats ridiculous because theyre expecting us to pay $20 for a party of 5 or more. Unbelievable. They said the tip is included but still, its very disrespectul that we cannot decide on the tip and its automatically 20%!.The tip would have been lower. The charge is unprofessional, no reason, and erodes customer’s trust and restaraunts integrity. Talking about integrity, what if the service charge allows the restaraunt to avoid paying a fair wage to the staff? Im surprised this restraunt gets good reviews.
Service was okay and saw them come to fill up water but decided not too, and came by our table many times. It is a necessity that customers decide the tip. Atmosphere unique but a little off putting. Read moreToday I received horrible and discriminatory service from the manager Rob/Robert. I placed an order and the order was incorrect. Not sure if it was on my part or the restaurant but I called to see if the order could be remade. Rob the manger was very rude from the start of our phone conversation. He said that he would remake the order at an additional charge of $1.89. The order was Chicken Quesadilla that were suppose to be placed on flour tortillas. Instead they were placed on corn which I am allergic to. When I went back to pick up the suppose to be remade order, Rob instead gave me some flour tortillas and told me to basically scrape the toppings out of the old tortillas and put them into the new ones. I then asked to cancel the entire order and to be refunded. He told me that he can’t give me a refund and if I wanted a new order I would have to pay for it. He was very ignorant, rude and condescending. He was very sarcastic and wanted to go back and fourth instead of trying to resolve the situation. Despite how costly this restaurant is, I have been eating lunch here every day of my work week for the last 3 years and never had any problems.
