Chicago | Tango Sur, an Argentine Restaurant

Meat lovers, you must visit this restaurant! 🥩The meat here is so good that I could barely walk afterward. It's no wonder that it's one of the highly praised Argentine restaurants in Chicago. Reservations are not accepted at this restaurant. We arrived early (before 6 p.m.) when half of the restaurant was still empty. By around 7:30-8 p.m. after we finished our meal, we saw a long line outside. Recommendations: 1️⃣ For starters, you must order Empanadas. The ham and cheese and eggplant flavors are highly recommended. The outer layer is crispy and very flavorful, not too salty – just perfect. 2️⃣ For the main course, if you're two people, I recommend the grilled meat platter, Parillada para Dos (there's also a platter for one!). The platter includes sausages, blood sausage, short ribs, steak, and more, along with a small side salad. We ended up taking half of it home because we were too full. I think the short ribs were the best – so deliciously grilled. The sausages were a bit salty, and the blood sausage was just okay. 🥩The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere, very romantic, with a candlelit dinner vibe. It has tables of different sizes, making it suitable for both friend gatherings and dates! While we were eating, the candle at the table next to us got too close to the napkins and accidentally set them on fire 😂. We managed to put it out quickly, but it was quite a surprise at the moment and a bit funny in hindsight. I highly recommend this place to anyone in Chicago! #ChicagoLife #ChicagoFood #RestaurantReview #FoodieDaily
