Chicago — Carnitas Spot in Mexico, Highly Recommend 🌮🐷

Don Pedro Carnitas — a spot we randomly found in the Mexican neighborhood. According to our Mexican friends, this is the authentic way to eat carnitas! They serve meat by weight based on your group size. Three of us had about 3 lbs of meat.😂❤️ You can choose your favorite pork cuts: shredded pork, pork skin (super fragrant and, stomach, ribs, etc. We got a mix of everything. The tortillas are free — then it’s DIY taco time! Pick your favorite meat (I love the pork skin + cartilage bits), add Mexican salsa (I go for the green sauce), top with cilantro and onions, and dig in.💕😍 So fragrant! The meat itself tastes like Chinese braised pork. Huge platter, and super cheap — $10 per lb. Free parking lot too.
