Chicago Bib Gourmand Spanish Spot: mfk. 🍽️✨

A cozy Spanish-inspired eatery tucked next to Lincoln Park. The space is small — just a few tables and a bar — so reservations are a must! 1️⃣ A lemon & passionfruit drink (forgot the name 😅) — almost ordered the THC/CBD version. Had no idea what that meant until the server explained… interesting new knowledge unlocked 🍃🧠. 2️⃣ Suzuki Crudo – Fresh raw fish, one-bite wonder 🐟. 3️⃣ Farro Risotto – Pretty standard grain bowl, topped with a runny egg 🥚. 4️⃣ Featured Fish – Forgot the type, but it came with pineapple on top. After pouring the broth, it tasted surprisingly like my mom’s braised fish — but without all the bones 🍍🐠. 5️⃣ Lamb Albóndigas – Spanish-style lamb meatballs served with potatoes 🐑🥔. Heard their Basque cheesecake is great, but we were too full for dessert this time! Flavors were solid — total came to $170 for two (including tax & tip).
