Chicago Dining Week | Seville π½οΈ Review
Seville Chicago Nestled on the 14th floor of a downtown Chicago building, Seville offers a delightful Mediterranean dining experience. During Dining Week, they introduced three packages: a $30 Brunch, a $45 Dinner, and a $60 Dinner. The packages provide a great variety compared to other fine dining options and are quite budget-friendly. This review focuses on the $45 Dinner package. π Dishes: The standard four-course meal offers two excellent appetizer choices. The first is a Spanish-style fried cream ball, while the second is a more refined option for cheese lovers. The standout of the meal is the second courseβgrilled octopus legs, exclusive to the $45 package (this alone makes the package worth it!). The portion is generous, almost like a small main course. The octopus is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, seasoned with a sweet and sour sauce reminiscent of Chinese stir-fries. My friend ordered the tap-tap beef and gave it high praise, especially for the smoky flavor added by the tableside smoking. π The only thumbs down π is for the King Salmon. The fish was dry, the portion was small, and it lacked seasoning. It's the kind of dish where you'd be better off cooking salmon at home. I recommend trying the Chicken instead (it might be better). π€ For dessert, I tried the strawberry cake, which was as cute and delicate as a model. π°π It was very sweet but delicious! Ambiance & Service: Located on the 14th floor, the entrance features a thoughtful elevator guide that sets the tone for Seville from the moment you step in. The soft lighting inside is perfect for romantic conversations. The service was also quite good. π Average Cost: $70 (including tax, tips, and one drink π₯€) Recommendation: 4/5 π A restaurant I'd want to visit again on a weekend. #ChicagoRestaurantWeek #MediterraneanCuisine #ChicagoExplore
