Chicago Dining Week | Seville π΄ Review
Seville Chicago Located on the 14th floor of a downtown Chicago high-rise, Seville specializes in Mediterranean cuisine. For Dining Week, theyβre offering three menus: $30 Brunch, $45 Dinner, and $60 Dinner β with more choices than many fine dining spots and very reasonable prices. This review covers the $45 Dinner menu. π½οΈ The Food: A standard four-course setup. Both appetizer options are solid: the first is like a Spanish-style fried cream croquette, and the second is a more refined cheese-focused option β highly recommended for cheese lovers! The second course really stood out: Grilled Octopus Leg β exclusive to the $45 menu (reason enough to pick it!). The portion felt almost like a mini main course β tender inside, crispy outside, with a sweet-and-sour seasoning reminiscent of Chinese stir-fry. A friend ordered the Beef Tartare and raved about the smoky flavor from the tableside smoke infusion. π Only disappointment: the main course β skip the King Salmon. The fish was dry, portion tiny, and seasoning bland. You could pan-fry better salmon at home π Maybe try the Chicken instead (likely better!). π° Dessert: Tried the Strawberry Cake β adorable and beautifully shaped, very sweet but delicious! π Ambience & Service: Located on the 14th floor with lovely elevator signage that sets the mood right away. Inside, soft lighting creates a perfect atmosphere for dates or relaxed conversation. Service was attentive and pleasant. π° Restaurant Week Price: ~$70 per person (includes tax, tip, and one cocktail) β Rating: 4/5 β A spot Iβd gladly revisit on a regular weekend! #ChicagoRestaurantWeek #MediterraneanFood #ChicagoEats #DateNightSpot #SevilleChicago π₯
