Chicago Food | Found a Taste of Home at a Ukrainian Restaurant
π½ Tryzub Ukrainian Kitchen HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! This is one of the favorite spots for Ukrainians in Chicago β every time I go, I see big family gatherings π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦. Even though it's a Ukrainian restaurant, the dishes always remind me of home. Definitely hits the spot for this Northern Chinese palate! βΌοΈ Recommended Dishes π₯ Infused Vodka Must order!! House-infused vodka with tons of flavors to choose from. You can even buy bottles to take home β perfect for this little drink enthusiast π π₯ Tartar's Chebureky Deep-fried dumplings stuffed with pork β fragrant without being greasy! π² Wild Mushroom Soup Basically creamy mushroom soup. So comforting on a cold winter day before the meal. π₯¬ Stuffed Cabbage Reminds me of Chinese cabbage rolls! The flavor is on the lighter side β the saltiness mostly comes from the cheese sprinkled on top, but the cheese doesn't overpower. Such a clever balance. π₯© Beef Goulash Ukrainian version of potato-stewed beef. Every time I eat this, I just crave a bowl of rice to go with it π. I also found out they do brunch on weekends β looks amazing in photos! Will definitely try when it warms up π. #ChicagoFood #ChicagoLife #Tryzub #UkrainianFood #ComfortFood #InfusedVodka
