Chicago Michelin ⭐ | Blackbird’s Valentine’s 7-Course Dinner

Valentine’s Day happened to be my birthday 🎂 — booked their special menu early. Priced about twice the usual, ~$300+ for two after tax. Seven courses, including two desserts (three variations — sweet overload for Valentine’s? 😉). Overall flavors leaned a bit salty, but standout was the beef tartare with a sweet-tangy cracker-like addition — so good! First and third courses were also solid. Not a fan of the quail main — texture reminded me of ham (just okay). Heard their regular menu is very affordable — brunch around $10–20, cocktails ~$10. They’ve held their Michelin star for years! It gets crowded — we went at 5 PM and it was fine, but by 7:30 PM it was packed.
