Day Trip from Milan | Violin Town - Cremona 🎻

A paradise for violin lovers! Whether it’s the awe of seeing dozens of legendary violins displayed together or the immersive classical music experience surrounded by 24 speakers, this place is unmissable. 🎶✨ 🚆 Getting There: About an hour by train from Milan, with plenty of departures daily. 🗺️ Sightseeing Order: To make the most of your visit, follow this route by closing times and distance from the station: Stradivari House ➔ Museum ➔ Church. Along the way from Stradivari's House to the Museum, you’ll pass many luthier workshops. For those interested, take a peek inside to see violin-making in action. One notable workshop is named "P9" (known as Bai Gongzi in China) with a unique door. You can also find award-winning luthiers' details and addresses in the museum. 🏆 🍕 Food Recommendation: Due to a train delay, we only had time to grab a quick snack. Highly recommend Bottega della Pizza! The owner might just be the hardest-working person in Italy. Since 1979, she’s run the place solo (from sourcing ingredients to making and selling pizza) every day from 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM, except holidays. Although maps show a 3:00 PM break, she actually stays open, baking pizzas even then! 🍄 Her dedication really struck me, especially after experiencing Italy’s famously flexible hours. Pizza here is sold by weight. Mine, roughly 1.5 “hand-sized” slices, was just €4 (and yes, she even forgot to charge me until I reminded her 😂). #GetOutAndExplore #Italy #Cremona #Travel #ViolinTown
