Eating My Way Through Atlanta

🌟🌟🌟Wok Provision 👉The spicy chicken offal was really tasty and great with rice, but I’m not very good with spice, so picking out the chili peppers was a bit tiring. 🔥For the preserved meat dish, I thought I should try the cured meat since I was at a Chinese restaurant. I was torn between garlic sprouts with cured meat and dried radish with cured meat, and the staff recommended the dried radish version. 🔥The flavors of the dried radish and cured meat didn’t really complement each other. The dried radish had a very distinct, standalone flavor, and it felt like the two ingredients didn’t really go together... Plus, the cured meat lacked a strong enough smoky flavor. 🔥The "stinky tofu and pork intestines" dish was quite popular, but I found the pork intestines more flavorful than the stinky tofu. The best part was the sour bamboo shoots, though the dish as a whole wasn’t very impressive. 🌟🌟🌟Chilipot 👉I had high expectations for this place, which has been really popular lately. Who’s been recommending the milk and papaya pudding? The flavor entirely depends on the osmanthus honey that’s poured on top. Each piece of the papaya milk pudding separates easily when you scoop it, and you have to make an effort to dip it into the honey at the bottom of the plate. I wouldn’t recommend it. 🔥The salt-baked pork was classic and delicious. The roasted pepper tofu chicken (in photo 7) was the biggest surprise of the night! It was so good that I had an extra bowl of rice. The Sichuan pepper beef tongue was recommended by many, but apart from the tender beef tongue, the dish wasn’t very impressive. It was a bit salty, and the Sichuan pepper flavor was lacking. I wouldn’t recommend it. I also followed the trend and ordered the pig’s trotter soup, which was just average. #Atlanta #AtlantaFood
