Wow. The response I received did not show any sincere apology. First of all, they said there was no mandatory tipping, but when we checked out they clearly emphasized to tip 18% and up. One of our friends didn't hear us and didn't tip 18%, and the waiter came over to reiterate that one of us hadn't tipped enough. The waiter came over later and “generously” said that we didn't need to make up for it this time, and that we needs to remember to tip 18% next time.
Secondly, if a hot dish splatters and causes it to splatter on the customer, that is a problem. Serious apologies needed, he only said excuse me not even sorry, and nothing mentioned about “assistance with cleaning”, only asked if we need we can go to restroom to wash. And then next dish is served above a toddler.
High chair issue, we went in and stood at the table and waited, walked back and forth with no one to ask us if we needed anything, and then finally couldn't stand there and go get the high chair ourselves, which is where the very poor service comes in, NO ONE IS HELPING.
The response from the restaurant was so disappointing, no honest expression of the problems with the service at the restaurant, all kinds of excuses. Unbelievable.

A forced 18% tip paired with extremely poor (or even nonexistent) service. Throughout the dinner, there was no service except for bringing the dishes; they didn't even refill our water or ask if we needed something. We also waited a long time to call the waiter for the bill. Interestingly, during checkout, the waiter spoke the most, insisting that everyone must give an 18% tip. The overall service attitude was so arrogant, and it was dangerous with different servers bringing out food—either splashing oil on us or serving dishes right over the child's head! It’s hard to understand what kind of service this is.

The most shocking moment came when the server carelessly tried to pass a hot plate over my friend’s 2-year-old, even though there was plenty of space to walk around. On top of that, he spilled the beef stone dish on one of our friends. Both incidents showed a blatant disregard for basic safety and common sense.
We were not happy with the service at all. To make it worse, at the end of the meal the server confronted us about the tip, demanding to know who didn’t leave at least 18% and warning us that “next time” we have to. After this kind of service, there will NOT be a next time.
The owner’s public reply to my friend’s feedback was defensive and dismissive. Instead of apologizing, they flat-out denied the tip issue, excused the unsafe serving as “how the dish is served,” and shifted blame for the lack of a high chair to us. There was zero accountability, no concern for customer safety, and an arrogant dismissal of the experience we had.

Read moreGood food but terrible service. I’ve been twice and can attest to food quality. Their business hours appear to be inconsistent and vary from what’s advertised. I’ve attempted to visit 3 consecutive times between 9-930 (driving 60 minutes round trip each time) and they turned me away for a different time related reason each time.
For example on the most recent attempt to eat dinner: the host said they remembered rejecting me the previous time, and turned me away from service again despite the fact I arrived before the time they told me they stopped seating the previous time they rejected me. Then they said they cannot seat me because the “kitchen is closed for cleaning” yet offered to-go? The lies don’t add up. I give up trying to give them business. They advertise a 10 closing time but I suggest arriving at 8 or don’t bother visiting.
