🌌 Free Viewing Route at Brera Observatory πŸ”

πŸ“Note: The term "free" in the title of this post only applies to friends who hold the Lombardy Museum Annual Card. It is not recommended for those without the card, as it requires a 6 Euro entrance fee. πŸ“The Astronomical Museum inside the Brera Academy allows you to climb to the top for a panoramic view of the city and visit the telescopes placed on the rooftop observatory. However, the climbing route is not open on regular days and only opens on Saturdays and Sundays at 5 PM when staff will lead visitors up from a small door inside the Brera Astronomical Museum. πŸ“The Brera Astronomical Museum is not in the same place as the Brera Gallery. After entering the courtyard, do not go upstairs but walk straight ahead into the academy corridor. When you are about to reach the end of the corridor, turn right and walk for a while. On your left, you will find a staircase with a sign for the Astronomical Museum. Go upstairs, and you will arrive at the museum. (If you can't find it, just ask a passing Brera student.) πŸ“It is recommended to arrive at 4:30 PM on Saturday or Sunday. The museum can be quickly seen, and at 5 PM, you will first watch a video in a dome-shaped meeting room before you can visit the observatory and enjoy the panoramic view of the city. #Milan #milano #milan #MilanLife #BreraAcademyOfFineArts #brera #BreraGallery
