✈️ Located on the north side of the Milan Cathedral square, right next to the Duomo di Milano. After arriving by train and organizing our luggage, we headed straight here for a photo op! 📸 This is a stunning covered arcade, regarded as one of the most beautiful shopping galleries in Europe. 🌍💖 The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II was established in 1865 and is considered the ancestor of modern shopping street design. The roof features arched glass and wrought iron. The two glass-roofed corridors converge in an octagonal space, topped with a glass dome. Sunlight filters through the glass roof, illuminating the exquisite reliefs and murals below, casting a divine golden glow. ✨✨ The Galleria is also a fantastic shopping destination in Milan. Along this arcade, you’ll find familiar brands like Gucci, LV, and Prada, as well as popular stores like H&M and Zara. The Prada boutique here is among the best in Milan, both in size and window display, which is updated daily. Just standing outside and admiring the window displays is a delightful experience! 🛍️💫 I remember one time while we were wandering in the gallery, we accidentally dropped nearly a hundred euros from our pocket without realizing it. Fortunately, a friend passing by spotted it and quickly alerted us.
