Is Milan's Prada Foundation Worth a Visit?
The Prada Foundation in Milan is undoubtedly one of the city’s must-see spots! 🎉 🕒 Opening Hours: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM (closed on Tuesdays) 🎫 Ticket Price: €15 It’s definitely worth spending a whole day here—endless exhibitions, loads of fascinating details, an elevator that’s more like a work of art 🛗, and restrooms that are so beautiful they don’t seem real 🚻. The ancient church bell tower, entirely covered in gold leaf, is transformed into a "Golden House," and don’t miss Wes Anderson’s stunning café ☕️. ✔️ Carsten Höller’s Upside-Down Mushroom Room 🍄 This is perhaps the most famous and photographed installation at Fondazione Prada. Before entering the mushroom room, you walk through a winding, pitch-dark corridor. With only a handrail to guide you, you finally step into a magical mushroom room—like Alice in Wonderland. Truly enchanting! ✔️ Everyone Is Looking at Your Tears ☔️ In a glass-and-steel cube, a black umbrella is suspended in mid-air, being continuously drenched by simulated rain. In the puddles forming below, two artificial ducks float at the center of the water. ✔️ Don’t Miss the Wes Anderson-Designed Café ☕️ This café, designed by the director of The Grand Budapest Hotel, is a dream for anyone with a love for symmetry and vintage vibes. It’s so photogenic that everyone can easily snap a perfect shot! Bar Luce: With retro tiled floors, grey-green tables, and pastel pink chairs, it’s beyond adorable. This cute, stylish Bar alone is reason enough for me to go to Milan... #Milan #MilanFashionWeek #Italy #ItalianLife #PradaFoundation #MilanPradaFoundation #Art #ArtAppreciation #Exhibition
