🚄 Train to Stresa + 🛥️ Three Islands Pass for 32.4 euros (You can buy the pass online in advance or buy the train and boat tickets separately. In Stresa, there are many different boat companies at the dock. The prices are almost the same, so you can ask about the frequency of the boat schedules.) ⛲️ Isola Bella - Beautiful Island: One of the LV2024 show venues, featuring distinctive Baroque-style sculptures and Italian gardens. The white peacocks are very elegant, and there are a circle of restaurants around the dock. 🦚🍽️ ⛲️ Isola dei Pescatori/Isola Superiore: A very small island with almost all restaurants. It's the only island on Lake Maggiore with permanent residents. Many restaurants offer lake fish as a specialty. It's quite busy on weekends, and some restaurants require reservations in advance. 🐟🍴 ⛲️ Isola Madre: It's a botanical garden and a small bird garden. The island is filled with colorful birds and peacocks. There's only one small café on the island. 🌼🐦 🎫 For Isola Bella and Isola Madre, there is an admission fee. You can buy a pass online. We also visited Parco Pallavicino, a zoo/botanical garden with an interactive area where you can pet alpacas, deer, lambs, and rabbits. It's nice to take a walk when the weather is good.
