Is the Prada Foundation in Milan worth a visit?

The Prada Foundation in Milan is undoubtedly one of the absolute must-see spots in the city! 🕒 Opening Hours: 10 AM – 7 PM (Closed on Tuesdays) 🎫 Admission: 15 Euros It’s worth spending an entire day here, with endless exhibits to see, so much information to take in, an exceptionally stylish elevator 🛗, bathrooms that are too beautiful for words 🚻, and a church bell tower covered in gold leaf transformed into a “Golden House,” not to mention the café designed by Wes Anderson ☕️. ✔️ Carsten Höller’s Upside-Down Mushroom Room 🍄 This might be the most famous and photographed installation at the Fondazione Prada. To enter this 🍄 mushroom room, you have to walk through a dark, winding corridor that’s so pitch-black you can only move forward by holding onto the handles on the side. But once you emerge, it’s like stepping into Alice’s Wonderland, incredibly dreamlike. ✔️ Everyone is watching your tears ☔️ Inside a glass and steel cube, a black umbrella is suspended in mid-air, continuously engulfed by a grid simulating heavy rain. On the ground, a puddle forms with two artificial ducks floating in the middle. ✔️ Don’t miss the café designed by the director of “The Grand Budapest Hotel” for the Prada Foundation when you’re in Milan. It’s a coffee shop with a touch of OCD that makes it easy for anyone to get a great photo. Bar Luce, with its vintage floral tile floors, grey-green formica tables, and pale pink chairs, is super cute. For this adorable and stylish Bar, I decided to make a trip to Milan… #Milan #MilanFashionWeek #TravelItaly #Italy #ItalianLife #PradaFoundation #MilanPradaFoundation #Art #ArtAppreciation #Exhibition
