L.A. County’s Prettiest Parks Are Now Open For Overnight Family Camping And Stargazing — For Just $15
There’s something truly magical about camping with your family, sharing stories around the bonfire, falling asleep under a blanket of stars, and disconnecting from the everyday rush. This August, that magic gets even brighter with a special series of overnight family camping events happening just in time for the Perseid meteor shower! The Overnight Family Camping program is designed to give families a safe and fun way to experience camping without the hassle of planning everything themselves. Organized by the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation, the events include guided activities such as night hikes, stargazing sessions, campfire gatherings with s’mores, and more. All the events start at 6 PM, with admission costing $15 per adult while kids 13 and under camp for free.
