Late-Night Eats Adventure in Chicago|Diva Thai & Sushi 🍣✨
After filling up gas tonight, I happened to pass by Diva Thai and Sushi Bar — a sign boldly read: “Open Late”! As a curious food-loving girl, how could I resist? Another late-night Chicago eatery, unlocked! 🗝️ Pushing open the door, warm yellow light spilled down over neat wooden tables and chairs.💕😊 The air carried a faint mix of spices and sushi rice aroma — instantly relaxing. 📖 Opening the menu gave me instant decision paralysis: Pad Thai, Tom Yum soup, all kinds of sushi… Everything looked tempting. But alas, I only have one stomach — had to make tough choices. I pointed at the sushi on the menu and asked the server, “If I take sushi home and eat it tomorrow or the day after, will it still be good?” He looked conflicted: “Sushi is best eaten immediately — overnight affects texture and flavor.” 🍣 Okay, I painfully passed on the pre-made sushi and just ordered the Key West Beach roll. 🔥 I picked this one because it arrives with a small flame burning in the center — so cozy on a winter night. Took a bite eagerly — spicy flavor bloomed instantly on my tongue, in a good way! Fresh tuna, seared scallops, rich spicy mayo… I was so into it, scrolling on my phone while grabbing piece after piece… Huh? Already gone? 🥤 I also ordered a classic Thai iced tea — fragrant, smooth, sweet. Too bad you can’t adjust the sugar level. At one point, I pointed at the tiny drink pictures in the bottom corner of the menu and asked, “Is this mochi ice cream?” The server facepalmed: “That’s… bubble tea.” 😅 My eyesight has officially reached “calling a deer a horse” levels… But who put the pictures so close to that line of text?! Anyway, I’ll just drink it. The server was really nice though — half Chinese, half Thai — we chatted a bit and he even wished me Happy Lunar New Year 🧧. Went home full and happy — body and soul satisfied, all the day’s tiredness gone. For everyone in Chicago — a new late-night food option! Diva Thai and Sushi Bar — definitely worth a try! #Chicago #ChicagoEats #LateNightEats #DivaThaiAndSushi #SushiLove #ThaiIcedTea
