🌟 Life in Chile | What’s on My Plate? 🍴

As someone who can’t cook (shoutout to soy sauce, oyster sauce, and chili powder for saving my meals!), here’s my Chile food diary with 3 local restaurant reviews: 1. LA CABRERA 🥩 Steak Tips: Ordered a punto (medium-rare), but if pink centers freak you out, go for bien cocido/bien hecho (well-done). Sauces: Meh – skip ’em. MVP: Thick-cut fries – crispy perfection! 🍟 Heads Up: Agua (water) isn’t free – choose jugo (juice) or bebida (soda) if you’re budget-conscious. 2. LA HACIENDA GUACHA 🌿 Weekend Alert: Be ready to wait for a table! Ordered: Lomo Liso steak + fries. Chewy beef, crispy fries, and a refreshing lemon-mint tea to balance the grease. Solid 7/10! 3. LA CHILENA (Vaguely Remembered 😂) Empanadas: Beef-onion and cheese fillings – decent but forgettable. Saving Grace: Chocolate ice cream ball – rich and creamy! 🍫 Pre-Meal Snack: Rock-hard bread rolls with butter (did they think we’d starve?!). #ChileanLife #FoodieInChile #EmpanadaAdventures #SteakLover #FoodFails #MehEats #HangryExplorers #LatinAmericanBites
