Expensive food, good quality of cuts but they messed up the cooking, I ordered it Medium it came Medium Rare, I sent it back and it came back Medium Well. Basically just a ribeye steak + side dish (just grilled vegetables) and 2 sodas cost me almost 60 dollars (with tips). Service was a bit slow and we didn't feel welcome, like they didn't put much effort and felt a bit of passive aggressiveness. It was around 10 degrees outside and around the same temperature inside since the doors had a huge gap where wind would come in, we and other customers had nowhere to sit but next to the entrance door (it was around 5PM and the rest of the restaurant was closed) and most of us had coats on while eating. My girlfriend was uncomfortably cold, I asked them to either move us or turn the heating on, they said the rest of the restaurant was off limits and said they would turn heating on but they didn't.They did send complimentary bread and some tiny tasting portions but those were blend. I noticed that an american sitting right next to us had a different standard of service, probably because they presumed he would be a high spender. Beer cost (USD) almost 8 dollars each and Coke was over 4 dollars (with tips). Had I ordered enough to leave with a full belly I'd probably spend 200 USD for 2.

La Cabrera is an Argentinian restaurant in the affluent Alonso de Córdoba area. True to its upscale location, prices range from 16,900 CLP to 45,000 CLP for a cut of meat. The restaurant is in a converted house spread over two floors, featuring a cosy and rustic interior. The service is exceptional—jovial, friendly, attentive, and efficient. The menu honours traditional Argentinian cuisine, showcasing a variety of meat cuts and condiments, including bife de chorizo, milanesa, and entraña. If you're looking for a non-alcoholic drink, the lemonade with ginger, mint, basil, and soda (4,900 CLP) comes highly recommended. For a tasty starter, try the chorizo criollo sausage (12,900 CLP). The 400-gram bife de chorizo (32,000 CLP) was perfectly marbled and cooked, with just the right amount of fat. Until further notice, La Cabrera is my favourite steakhouse in Santiago.
