Magnificent Mile Food Guide ~ ✨

This year, work brought me to Chicago, and I spent most of my time around the bustling Magnificent Mile — getting a real feel for the city. Of course, the best way to experience any place is through its food! Below are some restaurants I personally tried and loved — all easy to find on Google Maps 📍 1️⃣ Nomi – Located on the 7th floor of the Park Hyatt 🏙️ This might be the most refined and cozy restaurant I’ve ever dined at. The food is delicious, and the service is thoughtful yet never overbearing — a rare balance! Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook Michigan Avenue and the distant lake 🌊. I walked in without a reservation for lunch and still got a seat! 2️⃣ Luke’s Lobster – A small spot near the Art Institute 🦞 Perfect for a post-museum bite. Last time I passed by it was closed, but this time I finally tried their famous lobster roll and lobster bisque — generously filled and super fresh! A bit salty toward the end, though 😅 Pro tip: ask for your roll warm to get toasted, crispy bread 🥖🔥 3️⃣ Volare – Authentic Italian and clearly popular! 🇮🇹 If you don’t have a reservation, go early. The menu is vast — lobster pasta, squid ink pasta, and grilled calamari were solid. The pizza, though, was surprisingly salty 🧂! Portions are huge, great for groups. 4️⃣ Nutella Cafe – Every bite is pure joy 🍫✨ Just don’t look at the calories — ignorance is bliss here 😆 5️⃣ Starbucks Reserve Roastery – The world’s largest Starbucks! 🌍☕ Five floors of coffee heaven. You can try seasonal specials, explore coffee culture, and grab unique merch. A must-visit for coffee lovers! 6️⃣ Pizza Uno – Home of Chicago’s famous deep-dish pizza 🍕 Thick, hearty, and loaded with toppings. The vibe is casual bar-meets-eatery — perfect with a cocktail 🍹 7️⃣ Wildberry Pancakes & Cafe – A fantastic brunch spot 🥞🍳 Classic flavors and HUGE portions! The “Two Eggs Any Style” set came with eggs, bacon/ham, pancakes/toast, AND a big bowl of fruit. Visited around Halloween and got pumpkin pancakes 🎃👻 #MagnificentMileEats #ChicagoFood #TravelEats #FoodieFinds #LobsterRoll #DeepDishPizza
