Mediocre Service but Pancakes That Win! 🥞

I’ve been to Wildberry many times — here to recommend it again! Be prepared to wait, and yes, the service can be hit‑or‑miss, but their pancakes are incredibly fluffy — truly stand out from other brunch spots. Today’s Menu 🍽️ 🥞 Signature Berry Pancakes Each layer is brushed with blueberry cream/cheese — bursting with berry aroma. The pancakes are light, airy, and soft. The blueberries and strawberries on top are always sweet (where do they source them?). 🍳 Florence Benedict Spinach adds nice texture, eggs are perfectly poached. The side potatoes are delicious — lightly salted and not greasy. ☕ Villania Berry Latte (or similar name?) Iced version is sweeter than hot. Has a mysterious red‑bean‑like undertone 😄. Key Details 📍 🍴 Restaurant: Wildberry Pancakes and Cafe 📍 Address: 196 E Pearson St, Chicago, IL 60611 💰 Price: $20‑30 per person. Why I recommend it: Pancakes are uniquely soft and fragrant — different from typical brunch spots. Portions are huge — most Americans take leftovers home. Good value for a (internet‑famous) brunch spot. But… service can be lacking. Our white female server this time was dismissive and seemed to ignore us. The food is so good we overlooked it — but decide for yourself! #ChicagoEats #BrunchGoals #WildberryPancakes #MustTryChicago #PancakeLovers
