Milan|Delicious Little Eatery - Rovello 18
In my opinion, at Rovello 18, dishes can only be described as "good" or "really good." 🍝 The restaurant has been passed down through four generations, now run by Chef Michele, and is even a favorite among other Milanese chefs – it’s truly a "mamma’s kitchen" kind of place. ❤️ I treat this place like my canteen. Whenever I’m in the city, unsure of what to eat, just craving a simple pasta, or wanting traditional Milanese dishes, I head to Rovello 18. The quality is always consistent and delicious every time. My personal favorite is their signature Agnolotti del Plin with butter and sage sauce. Simple yet incredibly flavorful, showcasing real skill. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu – all the pasta, appetizers, second courses, and desserts. The Cotolette and octopus are also excellent! Plus, the wine list is fantastic! 🍷 Located perfectly in Brera, with a cozy ambiance, it’s great for a solo lunch, a small gathering with friends or family, or even a nice date spot. I recommend making a reservation (you can book online through Google). While I often go to more down-to-earth, older trattorias, if I were to recommend one place in Milan’s center, it would be Rovello 18. Unlike many “local favorites” that everyone talks about, this place delivers with mature cooking, stable quality, and a clean and comfortable environment. Online reservations make it even better! 💯 #Italy #ItalianCuisine #Milan #MilanFood #EuropeanLife
