Milan's Beautiful & Delicious Hidden Gem Restaurants 🇮🇹

Spent 6 days in Milan—have to say, the food here beats Florence and Rome by a mile! Some of these were recommended by friends who’ve lived in Milan for years.😘 Picked 5 foolproof restaurants to remember for next time! 🍽️ Langosteria Cafe Milano A classic, long-standing seafood restaurant in Milan with four locations. We went to the one near Duomo. During Milan Fashion Week, reservations are super hard to get—Gao Yuanyuan (celebrity) dined here just the day before us! When locals think seafood, this is the first place that comes to mind—their seafood is incredibly fresh!😍 Besides the seafood tower I’d been dreaming of, their pasta, grilled sea bass, and fried seafood platter are all highly recommended. 💰 Per person: €100+ 🍽️ Sogni Not exaggerating to call it Milan’s most beautiful restaurant—every detail oozes design aesthetics. Vogue named it one of the most anticipated restaurants of the fashion world in 2023. For a visually stunning meal, Sogni is a must.🎶 A vibe-driven seafood restaurant with a bar and a formal dining section, divided into three distinct themed areas. We sat at the circular social table—felt like attending an upper-class European dinner party. Reviews on the food are mixed, but I thought it was pretty good. The dishes in the photo were all tasty (though my friend ordered, so I don’t remember the names!). 💰 Per person: €100+ 🌟 Both of the above require advance reservations with a deposit, but time changes are free (if slots are available). 🍽️ Primevo If you’re craving steak in Milan, choose this place. We all agreed it’s much better than the T-bone steak at Florence’s "Best Steak 101"! The meat quality here is excellent, with a wide selection of cuts.👌 A local Milanese friend took us here—almost all diners were locals. 💰 Price unknown (treated by friends) 🍽️ Le Chalet An Italian seafood restaurant opened by a Wenzhou native—highly rated on Dianping. Since it was near our hotel, this seafood lover had to try it.💕 The food was indeed delicious, great value, and portions were huge. The owner was super kind—even gave us water when we left. Recommended: Grilled seafood platter, crab roe pasta, oysters, octopus salad. 💰 Per person: €40 🍽️ Tanwan A Taiwanese restaurant we randomly walked into near our hotel—and wow! After days of Western food, this place was a comfort to the soul.🎶 Their specialty Taiwanese braised beef noodle soup was so good my husband wanted to return the next day! Other hits: braised pork rice, popcorn chicken, green beans, eggplant clay pot. The owner is from Taiwan, so the flavors are authentic. Seems to be a favorite among international students on TripAdvisor too. 💰 Per person: €30 #ItalianCuisine #Milan #VibeRestaurants #HiddenGems #AtmosphereDining #RestaurantRecommendations #DateNightSpot #MilanEats 🍝🇮🇹
