Milan | A Dreamy Italian Restaurant Crafted by Fashion Icons ✨

**Sogni** 💡 Operated by Claudio Antonioli & Ann Demeulemeester, the ambiance is so beautiful it feels like a dream! **Atmosphere** As you enter, you're greeted by an ultra-chill sofa area where you can start with a drink and chat. Further in, there's an indoor section & a faux-outdoor area. The most stunning part of the restaurant is at the back: a classic long table + a wall of plates, creating a vibe that makes every casual snap look like a magazine spread! 📸 **Culinary Experience** The complimentary amuse-bouche was artichoke, which my friend said tasted like bamboo shoots 😂, but it was surprisingly good! 🥢 The lobster pasta is a must-order! The generous lobster meat and rich sauce blend perfectly with the aroma of tomatoes and lobster, making every bite a seafood delight. -Octopus is incredibly tender! The accompanying sauce is an absolute match, perfectly complementing the dish. -The vegetarian dish we tried was mashed potatoes + legume-based "meat" (basically a collection of beans). I wasn't expecting much, but it was quite good! The mashed potatoes were super smooth, and the beans were unexpectedly great for dipping bread. Hahaha. -The final dessert was a cherry rum chocolate cake. The rum flavor was quite strong, and we were warned about it when ordering. The first few bites were fine, but the bottom was really intense. It's a dessert best shared among friends. ⚠️ **Minor Downsides** The restaurant music is very loud + the lighting is extremely dim. The staircase to the restroom is super dangerous! But in contrast, the restrooms are bright and beautiful, with two attendants standing by to assist you with handwashing. 😂 ⏳ There's a 2-hour dining limit, and the waitstaff keep clearing plates, urging you to eat faster. It's quite stressful and doesn't allow for a leisurely dining experience. 🥲 📌 **Summary:** Perfect for those who want a sense of ceremony and great photo opportunities. But if you're looking for a relaxed meal, this place might make you feel a bit anxious. #Milan #MilanLife #Restaurant #AmbianceRestaurant #MilanExploration #MilanItalianCuisine #MilanBirthdayRestaurant
