Milan | Casa Museo Boschi Di Stefano 🎨🏛️

▫️ Casa Museo means House Museum. This museum features a collection of over 300 outstanding 20th-century art pieces gathered by the couple Antonio Boschi and Marieda Di Stefano. The exhibits are displayed in the couple's former apartment, designed by the renowned Milanese architect Piero Portaluppi. 🏡✨ ▫️ The museum has 11 rooms that present works from 20th-century Italy across various artistic movements, including pieces by the artist Lucio Fontana, which I really admire. Currently, the apartment showcases only a portion of their entire collection. According to old photographs, when they lived here, countless art pieces filled the space from floor to ceiling! 🖼️🌟 ▫️ I recommend visiting on a sunny day. The apartment is well-lit, and the interior design is exquisitely elegant, full of details. The geometric patterned floors, intricate glass doors made from textured glass, carefully arranged artworks in display cases, and antique furniture reflecting the era all immerse visitors in the artistic atmosphere of that time. ☀️🏠 ▫️ The lady of the house, Marieda, studied sculpture in the studio of artist Luigi Amigoni. These early influences led her to explore ceramics, which became her lifelong passion. Later, she opened a ceramics school on the ground floor of the apartment building, which turned into a gathering space for creation and exhibitions. 🎨👩‍🎨 Today, ceramics classes are still offered here, and the studio space is open for visitors. The items in the ceramics studio are incredibly vivid, with various pottery tools, palettes, brushes, and the white overalls worn by students hanging on the wall. Stepping inside naturally evokes scenes of lessons and creations in the studio. 🎉🍶 🔸 The visiting experience here is indeed different from other museums—unique, charming, and intimate. I highly recommend it! ❤️✨ 💌 Admission is free! #RecorderOfRomanticLife #ArtistsFromTheStars #Art #Design #HiddenGemsInMilan #ItalianLife #ArtGallery #Aesthetic #365DaysOfAesthetics #Exhibition #Museum #ArtMuseum #Design
