Milan Cuisine | Pasta So Delicious It Leaves You Speechless 🍝
Simple yet delicious, Rovello 18 🪟 Having spent quite some time in Milan, it's rare to find a small restaurant where every dish hits the mark! It's said to be a family legacy spanning four generations. The exterior might look unassuming, but the decor improves a bit once you head up to the second floor. 🥓 The Cacio e pepe (creamy pepper pasta) is delightful—rich and perfectly cooked, not underdone at all. The Tagliatelle con ragù di bra (wide noodles with meat sauce) is also tasty, meeting expectations and definitely satisfying. The Tuffoli con crema di fave (broad bean cream pasta) is delicious too, especially with the crispy pork cheek on top—it’s the perfect finishing touch! 🍗 For meat, we ordered Vitello tonnato (tuna sauce veal), Polpo arrosto (grilled octopus), and Tagliata (Italian steak). While they might not be as stunning as the pasta dishes—possibly because we were already quite full—they're made with fresh ingredients and don't disappoint. The veal is especially recommended in summer; it's a classic Italian cold dish. Michelin recommended, and rightly so! The restaurant’s location is perfect for soaking up the street atmosphere of Milan. It's definitely worth a visit, and I’ll be returning for sure! ✨ #Milan #MilanRestaurantRecommendations #MilanFoodExploration #MilanCuisine #FoodDiaries #milano
